• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, utilizing clinical interviews and standardized measurement tools to tailor individualized treatment plans that meet clients’ unique mental health needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques in one-on-one, group, and family therapy sessions. Examples of modalities used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices.
• Work collaboratively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for each client, often participating in interdisciplinary meetings.
• Respond to crisis situations effectively, providing immediate support and intervention for clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing a trauma-informed approach.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives and educational workshops aimed at promoting mental health literacy and reducing stigma surrounding mental health disorders.

This role primarily serves a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. The clients often present with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and other psychiatric disorders, necessitating a therapist who values cultural competence and sensitivity in their practice.

• Possess a current and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, allowing effective rapport building with a diverse range of clients.
• Show strong organizational capabilities with a commitment to maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Exhibit cultural competence in understanding and addressing the unique needs of clients from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role is preferred, particularly within a community health setting.
• Experience with teletherapy and electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous, helping to optimize the remote service delivery model.
• Familiarity with community resources and services that can further support client's mental health goals is beneficial.
