Core Responsibilities

Architect Advanced System Designs: Spearhead the end-to-end conceptual and detailed design of full-scale treatment infrastructure. You will generate complex process calculations, mass balances, PFDs, and P&IDs, collaborating closely with the wider engineering team to deliver optimized, value-engineered solutions that exceed client expectations.

Drive Applied R&D & Innovation: Formulate strategic testing frameworks, lead advanced laboratory bench- and pilot-scale evaluations, and interpret complex data matrices to validate cutting-edge designs and accelerate the commercialization of proprietary technologies.

Spearhead Field Deployment & Commissioning: Transition from theory to execution by directing on-site system startups, establishing rigorous operational sampling protocols, and delivering expert-level technical training to client engineering and operations teams across the region.

Deliver Strategic Financial Governance: Partner directly with the executive leadership team to evaluate capital equipment budgets, conduct rigorous value engineering assessments, and vet the commercial and financial feasibility of emerging water treatment technologies.

Optimize Live Industrial Assets: Serve as the definitive technical authority on troubleshooting; analyze real-time operational metrics and field data to diagnose complex system anomalies and maximize the efficiency of live industrial facilities.

Requirements

Professional Qualifications

  • Academic Foundation: A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Chemical, Environmental, Process engineering), backed by a strong foundation water systems.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in the conceptual design, operational optimization, or commissioning of complex industrial water and/or wastewater treatment processes.
  • Cross-Functional Execution: Exceptional autonomy and communication skills, with a proven ability to interface seamlessly as a technical authority with clients, project managers, and executive sales teams.
  • Mobility & Deployment: Readily adaptable and willing to travel up to 25% across North America to oversee critical project deployments, commissioning phases, and field operations.
