Job description

PLC Technician
Our client is hiring a PLC Technician to install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automated control systems across manufacturing operations
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain PLC-based control systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms)
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and automation-related equipment failures
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and wiring diagrams
- Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to minimize downtime
- Respond to production line issues quickly to reduce downtime and maintain output
- Support root cause investigations for recurring equipment or control system issues
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands on PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
- Basic computer literacy
Preferences:
- Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field
