Job description

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Photo Producer to join our Photo Production team, supporting high?volume, brand?defining shoots across Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle. This is a hands?on management role responsible for overseeing the full creative photography process-from pre?production through post-ensuring every shoot is delivered on time, on brand, and on budget. This role partners closely with Creative, Styling, Merchandising, and external vendors, and requires someone who is calm under pressure, highly collaborative, and exceptional at managing details in a fast?paced environment.
  • Hourly pay rate up to $72.00

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute the end?to?end photo production process across multiple shoots and brands
  • Oversee shoot budgets under the direction of the AVP of Photography
  • Collaborate closely with key partners including Creative Director of Photography, Photo Art Directors, Creative Operations, Sample Management, Merchants, Stylists, Finance, and external vendors
  • Support scheduling and booking of photographers, models, hair & makeup artists, stylists, studios, locations, and outside production resources
  • Negotiate rates and fees while maintaining strong vendor and talent relationships and upholding brand standards
  • Ensure all release forms and usage agreements are completed accurately; partner with Legal as needed
  • Support model castings and manage all pre?production logistics
  • Create and distribute detailed call sheets
  • Manage advances, invoicing, usage agreements, and post?production costs to ensure adherence to approved budgets
  • Reconcile shoot invoices and submit for Accounts Payable processing, including net?zero payments
  • Be on set to oversee production flow, schedules, crew readiness, and creative execution

Requried Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 5-8 years of photo producing experience, ideally across print, catalog, digital, editorial, or e?commerce
  • Proven experience managing budgets, vendors, and agencies
  • Strong negotiation skills with a cost?conscious, quality?driven mindset
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work cross?functionally
  • Detail?oriented, organized, and calm under pressure
  • Comfortable working on set, in studio, and on location (including occasional weekends)
