Job Summary:
The Dignify Solutions, LLC is a company seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer with ODI experience. The role involves designing and developing solutions using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, as well as managing data integration processes and ensuring database performance.
Responsibilities:
• Strong design and development experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g & 12c.
• Must have experience in Oracle database design and data modeling.
• Good understanding of OLTP transaction processing and how operational data is modeled and handled in relational databases.
• Good understanding of financial data, metrics, and reporting requirements.
• Strong experience in creating ODI mappings, interfaces, and ODI procedures.
• Experience handling flat files and other file-based sources/targets through ODI, including file ingestion, transformations, and error handling.
• Understanding of OLAP concepts and processes.
• Experience monitoring, analyzing, and tuning reliability and performance for databases and ETL processes.
• Ability to develop strategies to resolve issues and implement preventive measures to avoid future occurrences.
• Data warehouse lifecycle management experience from design to implementation, including dimensional data modeling.
• Experience with normalized OLTP, MDM, and dimensional modeling techniques, including Star and Snowflake schemas, slowly changing dimensions, dimensional hierarchies, and data classifications.
• Experience maintaining, scaling, supporting, and expanding data persistence platforms using data integration tools and processes to populate and enhance reporting in distributed environments.
• Working knowledge and understanding of the OBIEE Suite (OBI Server, Dashboards, and Analytics).
• Knowledge of data modeling tools such as Oracle Designer, ERwin, TOAD, and DB Artisan.
• Experience working closely with architects, team members, and management to increase delivery capacity for existing and upcoming projects, enable knowledge sharing, and provide depth in data warehousing, data integration, and BI solutions.
• Exposure to the full software development lifecycle and AGILE/Scrum practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
