Position: Scientific Affairs Manager

Duration: 06+ months Contract (Possibility of extension)

Location: White Plains, NY 10605

Schedule: Hybrid; 2 days onsite in White Plains

Job Description:

  • This position will mainly be responsible for leading the development of scientific health and nutrition dossiers and outreach efforts to healthcare professionals for our U.S. businesses. 

The scope of this position includes:

  • Develop scientific health and nutrition dossiers to substantiate consumer messaging and product claims.
  • Manage nutrition messages and communications tools and events aimed at Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Health Care Professionals (HCPs).
  • Develop category and branded collateral materials targeting HCPs.
  • Build Category, Brand and credibility through Health, Medical and Nutrition stakeholders’ outreach (e.g., Pediatrics, Primary Care, Registered Dietitians).
  • Participate and manage client’s presence at key science, nutrition and medical conferences, including exhibit attendance; interact with HCPs and communicate brand messages.
  • Manage relationships with nutrition agencies and freelancers, as necessary.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) - minimum requirement.
  • Master's in Science (MS) and/ or a degree in Nutrition preferable.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) preferable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills - especially organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Experience with developing nutrition communication tools (desirable but not essential).
