Job description

As a Freelance Graphic Designer with the Likeable creative team, you'll leverage your design and animation talents to take projects from concept to final production. You're fiercely creative, with an eye that can tackle everything from a small retouch to a large, highly visual client campaign. You'll work closely with the team to create impactful projects that maintain a brand's identity and adhere to the best practices for social platforms.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, driven, team player
  • Excited by a fast-paced work environment
  • An understanding of how to balance client objectives and strategy with visual appeal
  • Interested in all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Receptive to critical feedback; able to translate and implement
  • Good communication skills
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and innovation
  • Creative, curious, and adventurous
  • Not satisfied with the status quo, you have amazing taste in all things design and it shows in your work

Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years experience in graphic design or a related field
  • A well-rounded portfolio
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and After Effects
  • Basic understanding of design principles, layout and composition-strong design, color, photography, and typography skills (i.e. Papyrus terrifies you)--along with the skills to bring your designs to life through basic animation, transitions and movement
  • The ability to animate existing art assets, add text, movement and music
  • Strong visual storytelling skills and ann understanding of how to translate a brand's look and feel to social
  • A portfolio with applicable work samples featuring graphic design, social, and motion design work
