Job description

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multi-channel marketing production initiatives from brief to delivery. This role serves as the operational backbone for end-to-end print campaigns (including direct mail), digital and creative project oversight, and full-cycle video production management.

You will partner closely with creative, strategy, production, and vendor teams to drive projects on time, on budget, and on brand while elevating process, communication, and quality standards across the board.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Print Production & Direct Mail

▸ Own end-to-end project management for all print campaigns including political direct mail, collateral, promotional materials, and large-format production

▸ Coordinate with print vendors, mail houses, and letter shops to manage specs, proofing, approvals, and fulfillment schedules

▸ Manage USPS postal requirements, mailing lists, data segmentation handoffs, and postage logistics

▸ Establish and enforce print QA workflows while reviewing mechanicals, color proofs, and press-ready files for accuracy

▸ Track production milestones, in-home delivery dates, and reconcile invoices against project budgets

Digital & Creative Project Oversight

▸ Coordinate routing and approval workflows across client stakeholders, creative, legal/compliance, and marketing leadership

▸ Manage simultaneous digital and creative projects including email campaigns, landing pages, paid media assets, and brand collateral

▸ Develop and maintain detailed project briefs, timelines, and resource assignments in project management platforms (Asana, Monday.com, Click-Up, or similar)

▸ Proactively identify scope creep, risks, and blockers — escalating and resolving issues before they impact delivery

Video Production Oversight

▸ Coordinate w/senior videographer pre-production logistics including scripting timelines, location scouting, talent coordination, and crew scheduling

▸ Lead end-to-end video project management from concept development through final delivery and distribution

▸ Manage production day logistics and serve as the primary point of contact between the client, creative team, and production company

▸ Oversee post-production workflows: editing rounds, motion graphics, audio, color correction, caption files, and format exports

Cross-Functional Leadership

▸ Build and maintain integrated project plans that account for dependencies across print, digital, creative, and video workstreams

▸ Manage and forecast project budgets; track actuals vs. estimates and provide regular financial reporting to stakeholders

▸ Develop and refine production SOPs, templates, and best practices to improve team efficiency and consistency

▸ Manage and mentor junior project managers and serve as a subject matter expert on production processes

▸ Partner with external agencies, vendors, and freelancers — establishing clear scope, deliverables, and performance expectations

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

▸ 5 to 7+ years of project management experience in a marketing, agency, or in-house creative environment

▸ Deliver high-quality, on-brand work with a consistent sense of urgency and accountability

▸ Strong command of digital and creative workflows including email, social, and paid media asset production

▸ Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, or Click-Up, or equivalent), Google Workspace tools, building and maintaining spreadsheets.

▸ Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously

▸ Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders

▸ Clear, confident communicator with all levels of stakeholders

Preferred

▸ Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of print and direct mail campaigns from specs and data to fulfillment

▸ Experience with variable data printing (VDP) and data-driven direct mail

▸ Experience managing video productions at all stages: pre-production, production, and post

▸ Background working within regulated industries a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

▸ Competitive base salary commensurate with experience

▸ Annual performance bonus eligibility

▸ Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage

▸ 401(k) with company match after 1 year of service

▸ FTO policy + paid holidays

▸ Hybrid work flexibility
