Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Oversee the entire FEED process for FPSO redeployment, managing budget, schedule, resources, risks, and ensuring delivery of an execution-ready package
Coordinate and integrate three FEED contractors (Topsides, Turret, Marine/Hull), making key decisions on system reuse, refurbishment, and replacement, and establishing a structured interface management process
Develop and execute strategies for Long Lead Items and Packages, ensuring readiness for early procurement and technical evaluation of critical equipment
Ensure compliance with regulations and classification society standards, embed local content strategies, and assess feasibility for fabrication
Incorporate life-cycle, operability, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) considerations into the design, ensuring long-term asset performance
Manage stakeholder engagement, deliver regular progress reports, and chair meetings with clients, partners, regulators, vendors, and internal teams
Champion HSE-by-design and quality, lead technical reviews, and drive robust risk management to support project approval and handover.

Qualifications:

Minimum 15 years in offshore oil and gas, with at least 8 years in FPSO engineering and 5 years in FEED/EPC project leadership
Demonstrated leadership of FEED for at least one FPSO project; experience with FPSO redeployment, life extension, or major modifications is highly valued
Proven ability to manage multiple engineering contractors and coordinate complex interfaces (Topsides, Turret, Marine)
Hands-on involvement in Long Lead Item/Package strategies, including RFQ development, technical bid evaluation, and early procurement
Familiarity with Lease and Operate/BOO models and long-term O&M obligations

Knowledge:

Strong expertise in internal turret systems, topside critical components, and relevant international standards (API, ASME, ISO, IMO, IEC)
Understanding of classification society rules and re-certification for redeployed units
Familiarity with typical engineering deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, equipment lists, layouts, mooring/motion analysis, hazardous area classification, SLDs)
Solid grasp of procurement processes for major equipment packages
Strong risk management, decision quality, and life-cycle cost analysis skills
Commercial acumen related to Lease and Operate contract structures, risk allocation, and FPSO life-cycle economics

Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation
Confident meeting facilitation and reporting
Proven leadership of multidisciplinary, multicultural teams
Decisive, structured thinking and sound judgement under pressure
Strong organisational and planning ability
Integration mindset across disciplines and contractors
Cultural sensitivity and adaptability

Coaching, mentoring, and resilience in high-pressure environments
