What is a Freelance Life Coach job?

A Freelance Life Coach is a self-employed professional who helps clients achieve personal or professional goals. They provide guidance, support, and accountability through coaching sessions, often conducted online or in person. Unlike therapists, life coaches focus on the present and future rather than past issues. They work independently, setting their rates, schedules, and coaching style to best serve their clients.

What are some common challenges faced by Freelance Life Coaches and how can they be managed?

Freelance Life Coaches often face challenges such as building a steady client base, handling irregular income, and maintaining clear boundaries with clients. Successful coaches typically invest time in marketing their services, networking, and continually upgrading their skills through professional development. Time management and regular self-care are also vital to prevent burnout, especially when juggling multiple clients and responsibilities. By staying organized, setting clear expectations, and focusing on ongoing learning, freelance life coaches can navigate these challenges and enjoy a rewarding, flexible career.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Freelance Life Coach position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Freelance Life Coach, you need a solid understanding of coaching principles, client goal-setting, and active listening, often supported by certification from recognized organizations like ICF or CTA. Familiarity with scheduling software, video conferencing platforms, and digital note-taking tools is typical for managing sessions and client follow-ups. Outstanding soft skills such as empathy, strong communication, and motivational abilities help differentiate top coaches. These skills ensure you can effectively support client growth, manage your practice independently, and build lasting client relationships.

Job description

We’re Hiring a Local Videographer (Freelance / Part-Time, Full-Time Potential)

Do you love creating professional, engaging video content that tells a story and captures attention? We’re looking for a skilled videographer to help us film at our office and bring our brand to life through high-quality video production.

Growth Opportunity: This role starts as freelance/part-time but has the potential to grow into a full-time position for the right fit.

What We Need:

  • Someone local who can come to our office to film on-site.
  • Strong camera skills – lighting, framing, and composition matter.
  • Proficiency in video editing (color correction, graphics, smooth transitions, etc.).
  • Solid audio recording and mixing skills (clear sound is a must).
  • A creative eye for making business videos look professional and engaging.
  • Social media ad content creation experience is a plus.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Filming interviews, training content, and promotional videos at our office.
  • Editing and delivering polished, ready-to-publish videos.
  • Helping us improve the look, feel, and sound of our video content.

Ideal Fit:

  • You’re reliable, creative, and detail-oriented.
  • You have your own gear (camera, mics, lighting preferred but not required).
  • You’re comfortable collaborating with a small team to make content pop.

If you’re passionate about video, have strong filming + editing magic, and want to work with a growing company that’s serious about producing great content, we’d love to meet you!
