Job description

About Us

CYVL is a Physical AI company on a mission to bring Infrastructure Intelligence to every city, town, and community on the planet. We help governments plan, build, and maintain the physical infrastructure that people depend on every day - roads, sidewalks, bridges, utilities, and more - better than ever before.

We pioneered an end-to-end approach that combines purpose-built hardware, computer vision, cloud data pipelines, and AI to transform raw LiDAR and imagery into a living, structured understanding of the built world. Our platform turns what used to take months of manual inspection into actionable intelligence that's easy for any agency to use, saving cities time, money, and resources across hundreds of communities nationwide.

At CYVL, we're building toward a future where every piece of public infrastructure on Earth is captured, understood, and continuously monitored - so the agencies responsible for it and the residents who rely on it can make better decisions, faster. That's the power of Physical AI applied to the real world.

We're a fast-moving, high-growth team based in Boston, MA that believes in solving real-world problems with authenticity, simplicity, and boldness. Every member of our team is empowered to take ownership, deliver results, and leave a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

About You

You are CYVL's lead marketing hire, and you own the full engine: public relations, product launch, content, brand, and thought leadership. You arrive at a pivotal moment: statewide and first-of-their-kind agency deals landing, a fast track from Series A to Series B, and a brand-new CYVL sensor launching, our first hardware in four years. Your job is to make CYVL the undisputed voice of infrastructure intelligence and make the sales engine faster and sharper. The story is enormous. The world hasn't heard it yet. That's the job.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run point on public relations and earned media, working hand-in-glove with cities and agency partners to drive coverage in trade, local, and national outlets, including press conferences you produce end to end.

  • Architect the go-to-market for our new sensor launch from a blank page. No playbook exists yet; you're writing it.

  • Own content strategy and execution across web, social, and email, and implement our brand strategy so voice, visual identity, and messaging stay consistent for two audiences: municipal buyers and venture capital investors.

  • Build the thought leadership programs that establish category ownership in infrastructure intelligence, and bring on and manage freelancers and agencies as needed (scope, budget, deliverables).

  • Own marketing strategy, budget planning, and reporting: track spend and measure impact across every program.

QualificationsRequired:
  • 5-10 years in B2B marketing, with a track record of building programs that support sales-led growth alongside Sales

  • Strong content creation: you translate complex technology into clear, compelling narratives, and know how to work a community (think: the Utah DOT crowd) to build real authority

  • Customer obsession: you know who we're talking to and what makes them act

  • PR and agency management with demonstrable earned-media results

  • Comfortable operating lean: set strategy, roll up your sleeves, and execute across multiple workstreams at once

  • Fluent with the stack: conversational automation tools in the ManyChat mold (DM flows that keep leads warm), plus HubSpot and PostHog for the data side

  • Strong people and project management, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-moving startup

  • Can tap a network of creatives on demand (camera people, art directors, motion designers) and get great work out of them ad hoc

Nice to Have:
  • An instinct for what makes something go viral: you're comfortable in front of the camera and behind it, and you know how to build a following on X, LinkedIn, and Instagram

  • When a moment calls for it, you don't need a full crew to capture it well. If that's not you, you'll hire someone who is

What We Offer
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k) with immediate vesting

  • Generous PTO, paid parental leave, and flexible work options

  • Annual professional development stipend

  • Team events, referral bonuses, and a collaborative, growth-focused culture

Our Values

At CYVL, the technology we build directly impacts the roads people drive on, the sidewalks their kids walk to school on, and the infrastructure that keeps communities running. We move fast, we care deeply - about the work, about our customers, and about each other. This is a team where trust isn't a talking point, it's how we operate.

Our values guide how we operate and shape a team that is genuinely RAARE:

Real - authentic, transparent, focused on solving real problems with simple, effective solutions.

All Out - bold, driven, and committed to delivering results that matter.

Accelerating - always learning, growing, and moving with intention.

Reliable - we follow through and deliver at a consistently high bar.

Empowering - we lift each other up and help governments build infrastructure they can be proud of.
