INTRODUCTION and WHAT YOU WILL DO (Job Responsibilities)

*This position is onsite out of Raleigh, NC*

Vontier is looking for a driven, creative, and collaborative Internal Communications Manager to join our Communications Center of Excellence (COE) in Raleigh, NC. You'll be at the heart of our in-office team, serving as a strategic communications partner within the Communications Center of Excellence (COE), supporting executive communications, segment Presidents, and special projects. ย This individual contributor role is ideal for a strategic communicator who can translate business priorities into clear, compelling employee communications while navigating multiple stakeholders, sensitive topics, and a highly matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comms Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute internal communications plans that align with enterprise priorities, business objectives, and employee engagement goals
  • Strategic Partnership: Advise leaders on communication approach aligned to business priorities
  • Leadership Communications: Develop executive messaging and presentation content to drive clarity and alignment
  • Change Support: Help leaders communicate with clarity, empathy, and credibility on business performance, organizational priorities, culture, and change.
  • Content & Channels: Create and deliver high-quality, multi-channel communications in partnership with COE channel owner ensuring communications are consistent with company voice, values, brand standards, and accessibility best practices
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with functions across the enterprise to ensure coordinated, consistent messaging across regions
  • Enterprise Support- Support company-wide communications programs, including employee updates, leadership messages, intranet content, newsletters, and enterprise campaigns

WHO YOU ARE (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, executive communications, or public relations
  • Experience supporting business leaders and senior executives with strategic communication planning
  • Skills and experience that align strongly
  • Proven ability to act as a strategic communications advisor to leadership
  • Strong experience writing executive messaging, speeches, presentations, talking points, and town hall content
  • Background in change management communications or communications for transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated success creating multi-channel communication strategies, including email, intranet, video, presentations, newsletters, and employee forums
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams to align messaging and communication priorities
  • Ability to translate complex business topics into clear, concise, and engaging communications
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience supporting global, matrixed, or multi-regional organizations
  • Preferred leadership and interpersonal traits
  • Collaborative and able to build strong partnerships across teams and functions
  • Creative thinker who can develop fresh communication approaches
  • Driven and proactive, with the ability to work independently and influence without direct authority
  • Strong executive presence and confidence interacting with senior leaders
  • High attention to detail and commitment to message consistency and quality
  • Located in Raleigh, NC and able to work onsite
