Job Description

As a Copywriter at Level, you will play a key role in crafting compelling, brand-aligned content across a wide range of formats. You'll work closely with Creative, Strategy, Account, and Technology teams to support the development of campaigns, digital experiences, and content that engages audiences and drives results.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and imaginative writer looking to grow their skills in both marketing and UX writing within a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Candidates must be comfortable working a schedule that aligns with Pacific Time Zone business hours. 

Responsibilities
  • Write clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for digital and print campaigns, including websites, emails, social media, video, and more.
  • Collaborate with designers, strategists, and other team members to execute content for various digital touchpoints.
  • Assist in developing user-focused content for landing pages, microsites, and product pages, supporting a seamless UX.
  • Interpret creative briefs and translate brand messaging into effective, audience-relevant content.
  • Revise and refine content based on feedback from clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and style across all deliverables.
  • Proofread copy for grammar, spelling, clarity, and alignment with brand standards.
  • Stay current on trends in digital content, UX writing, and marketing best practices.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in an agency or fast-paced creative environment.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of writing styles and content types (digital, social, UX, editorial, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of UX principles and how they influence content creation.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to fit different brands, audiences, and platforms.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and accepting feedback constructively.
  • Familiarity with content tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and design tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Experience with B2B and/or tech-focused content is a bonus but not required.

 Compensation Range: USD $66,120.00 - USD $87,000.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
