Job Title: Freelance Designer - Graphics Location: New York, New York

Overview: The Freelance Graphic Designer will support the development and execution of on-product marketing and packaging design. This role focuses on creating visually compelling, brand-aligned graphics that reflect key product attributes such as comfort, sustainability, quality, and a fun, engaging aesthetic.Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of on-product marketing and packaging design, creating visually compelling graphics that reflect key product attributes.
  • Create and update packaging, labeling, and production artwork using Adobe Illustrator, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  • Apply design revisions across multiple production and packaging files for final release, maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Research emerging design trends, materials, and production techniques to keep projects current and innovative.
  • Develop creative concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials for stakeholder review.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and fellow designers on new initiatives, supporting additional design-related tasks as needed.
  • Participate in in-person collaboration as required, including product development work, milestone meetings, fittings, and approvals based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on production art and/or packaging design
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
