Producer, Global Brand Studio

What will you do?

A day in the life of a Producer, Global Brand Studio at The North Face looks a little like this.

The Producer, Global Brand Studio will work directly with Sr. Producers, Creative Director, Art Directors, and coordinate with internal teams, external producers, production houses and photographers on planning, budgeting and execution of photography and videos for The North Face. This role will work with the Content and Creative team to deliver photography and videos to the guidelines of creative briefs and provide the visual needs required of The North Face's retail, wholesale, social, digital, product and eCommerce channels.This role is hands-on and production focused, responsible for planning coordinating, and executing shoots on location and in studio while ensuring all elements are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality.

This position reports to Executive Producer, Global Brand Studio

  • Interface and collaborate with internal project leads on a per-project basis to support execution of photo and video productions.
  • Support the management and tracking of budgets and timelines to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Manage assigned productions across key phases (pre-production through delivery) with guidance from Sr. Producer and Creative leadership.
  • Partner with Brand and Creative teams to understand photography needs and support seasonal and non-seasonal production planning.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on non-seasonal photography requests as needed.
  • Support the development and execution of photo shoots in partnership with Art Directors and Creative teams.
  • Build and maintain production schedules; help ensure photo and video projects are completed on time and assets are delivered to the appropriate teams.
  • Track budgets and expenses to support on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Execute against creative briefs and ensure alignment with defined expectations and deliverables.
  • Support coordination of freelance and vendor resources, including assisting with contracts and tracking agreements.
  • Source and hire crews, locations, equipment, catering, transportation, and other production needs.
  • Oversee on-set activity, ensuring all departments are aligned and the production stays on track.
  • Manage contracts, permits, insurance, and compliance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot in real time-solving problems as they arise on set.
  • Act as the central point of communication between creative, production, and post teams.

What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 3-5 years of experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Photography, Graphic Arts, advertising or related field or equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
  • High level of organizational and planning skills.
  • Knowledge of The North Face product and brand.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to navigate creative process.
  • Proven track record of managing projects, budgets, and timelines. Well organized and deadline oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and strong presentation skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively and tactfully with clients, vendors and photographers.
  • Able to organize and schedule work effectively, handle multiple tasks and work well under time constraints.
  • Must be team oriented, diplomatic, self-starter.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Photoshop and general database management.
  • Overnight travel (by air or car) 25% of the time, and able to travel internationally when needed.
  • Flexibility with schedule and ability to work long hours across several weeks depending on production schedule.

  • Experience in video and/or photo production, with a focus on line producing or field production

Hiring Range:

$73,440.00 USD - $91,800.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, orcommissionpotential.
