Job description

A principal of a multi-generational family who also owns a ranch, is looking for an Executive/Personal Assistant. The assistant will work from a home office in Rifle approximately once a week and occasionally visit the office in Parachute. When the principal travels, the assistant will work entirely remotely. There will be times when the assistant may be required to be in person more often. This is a new position, an opportunity to grow with the principal and expand the role.

About the Job:

¨ Heavy calendar coordination-business and personal

¨ Schedule business meetings and follow up

¨ Remind the principal of upcoming meetings

¨ Keep the principal on track

¨ Take items off the principal’s plate

¨ Make suggestions on putting systems in place and working efficiently

¨ Book end-to-end travel and create detailed itineraries (planes, cars, hotels, etc.)

¨ Process expenses

¨ Create Excel spreadsheets

¨ Vet and prioritize the principal’s emails

¨ Collaborate with the property manager

¨ Make personal appointments

¨ Some off-hour availability required

About You:

¨ Minimum of 4 years of experience in a support position

¨ BA/BS from a college or university a plus

¨ Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

¨ Strong communication skills: written and verbal

¨ Strategic thinker

¨ Understand the importance of confidentiality and trust

¨ Outstanding communication skills
