MageMontreal is a leading eCommerce consulting company helping brands build and optimize digital commerce experiences. We partner with ambitious clients on complex projects across Adobe Commerce, Shopify, WordPress, and emerging digital technologies.
We're currently looking for an experienced AI Product Designer who combines exceptional UX thinking with modern AI-powered design workflows. This is a client-facing consulting role where you'll help transform ideas into intuitive digital experiences.
This is a 2-month full-time freelance engagement (mid-August – mid-October) with the possibility of future collaborations.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead UX discovery sessions and translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Design user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces in Figma.
- Leverage AI-powered design tools to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and design iterations.
- Present design concepts directly to clients and confidently explain design decisions.
- Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure designs are scalable, responsive, and ready for implementation.
We're looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years of UX/Product Design experience.
- Strong expertise with Figma.
- Practical experience using AI tools in the design process.
- A strong portfolio showcasing website and digital product design (mandatory).
- Previous agency or consulting experience.
- Experience presenting work directly to clients.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French (bilingual).
- Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design.
