Supplier & Production Quality Specialist (Automotive) Is This You?

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day
- Own quality on the floor—inspections, testing, and rapid containment when issues arise
- Manage calibration for gauges and metrology assets; keep measurement systems audit-ready
- Perform shipping audits to verify packaging, labeling, traceability, and documentation
- Handle nonconforming material, from hold tags to defect containment and disposition support
- Conduct incoming inspections for raw materials and supplier components
- Drive root cause and corrective action with 5 Whys and 8D
- Assist with internal and process audits; contribute to continuous improvement projects
- Maintain complete, accurate quality records and documentation
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns
- Support new product launches and sample part builds
What Sets You Up for Success
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent manufacturing/quality background preferred
- At least 2 years in a quality or manufacturing role, ideally in automotive
- Understanding of IATF 16949 and core tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans (preferred)
- Calibration program experience; skilled with calipers, micrometers, and other metrology tools
- SPC familiarity and comfort with basic data analysis
- Ability to read engineering drawings and translate requirements to the shop floor
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and quality management software

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay: $26.00–$28.00 per hour
