Job description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to perform complex data analysis supporting both ad-hoc and recurring business and customer requests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing data from multiple sources, developing methodologies for data collection and presentation, evaluating data quality, and delivering actionable insights to management and stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to translate business needs into meaningful data products.
  • Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)
  • Contract Duration: End of the Year (Possible Extension)
  • Rate Range: $35-45/hr on W2
  • Only W2 Candidates, NO C2C

Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and recurring management and customer requests.
  • Develop methodologies, programs, and analytical processes for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to generate useful and actionable business insights.
  • Use and support database applications, analytical tools, and data query systems.
  • Evaluate data quality, applications, processes, and functions to identify potential issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Research and evaluate new data sources and analytical tools.
  • Develop and maintain data products, reports, and presentations based on business requirements.
  • Work closely with management and customers to understand product specifications and analytical needs.
  • Interpret analytical results and communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deliver data products through reports, presentations, dashboards, or verbal presentations within established timelines.
  • Identify system and process issues and collaborate with teams to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Facilitate communication and resolution of data-related problems.
  • Contribute to new product development and improvements in data delivery and presentation.

  • Proven experience performing complex data analysis in a business or enterprise environment.
  • Strong experience analyzing and interpreting data from multiple sources.
  • Experience developing methodologies for data collection, analysis, and presentation.
  • Strong understanding of database applications and analytical tools.
  • Experience evaluating data quality and identifying data-related issues.
  • Ability to translate business and customer requirements into effective data solutions.
