Job Description

As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll be reporting to our Operations Supervisor and working as a part of our Operations team. At QIMA, the role of the Operations is to deliver our industry-leading services to our clients while ensuring that all the work is performed to the QIMA standard of quality. Your role in this will be to:

Be part of a high-impact QC project for a major QIMA client.

What you'll do:

  • Join a large-scale project alongside a team of QIMA inspectors, controlling the quality of products received by our client at their warehouse
  • Inspect merchandise against client specifications — workmanship, measurements, and finish — applying QIMA's rigorous procedures to catch defects before they reach the end customer
  • Work as part of a team of QIMA inspectors, coordinating on-site with your supervisor to deliver consistent, reliable results across the project
  • Stay organized on the go — log your tasks in real time and keep your supervisor updated on daily progress
  • Own your outputs — submit complete, professional inspection reports on the same day, every day
Qualifications

Think you have what it takes? First of all, we want someone with:

  • Experience in textile quality control, especially garments (2 years or more);
  • Knowledge of AQL standards, as well as relevant safety and quality regulations;
  • Good command of English (spoken and written);
  • Great attention to detail and strong professional ethics.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid US visa or a passport eligible for ESTA authorizing business travel to the USA
  • Be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods, as inspections are conducted standing throughout the day
