Job description

About The Role

The Content Marketing Manager owns the content engine for a technology business, translating complex products, technical workflows, and customer problems into clear content that attracts qualified audiences and supports revenue growth.

The role sets editorial strategy across SEO, demand generation, product marketing, and customer education. This person partners with product, subject‑matter experts, sales, and design to turn research and performance data into content that earns organic visibility and moves prospects through the funnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage an editorial calendar spanning technical blog posts, solution pages, case studies, white papers, email programs, and sales enablement content

  • Develop SEO content strategies using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar platforms; prioritize topics based on search intent, competition, and pipeline potential

  • Write, edit, and brief content for technical and business audiences, maintaining accuracy, clarity, brand voice, and consistent messaging across channels

  • Partner with product marketing and subject‑matter experts to translate APIs, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data platforms, or other technical capabilities into useful customer‑facing content

  • Optimize landing pages, blog content, and conversion paths in collaboration with demand generation and web teams using CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or Contentful

  • Measure content performance through organic traffic, engagement, lead quality, assisted pipeline, and conversion rates; present insights and recommendations to marketing leadership

  • Manage freelance writers, agencies, and production workflows from brief through review, publication, distribution, and ongoing content refreshes

What We Are Looking For

  • 3‑6 years of content marketing, editorial, SEO, or demand‑generation experience, preferably in B2B or B2C technology

  • Demonstrated ability to create content that improves organic visibility, audience engagement, and marketing‑sourced pipeline

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience explaining technical products to both practitioner and executive audiences

  • Hands‑on experience with CMS, marketing automation, web analytics, and SEO tools such as HubSpot or Marketo, GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or Semrush

  • Strong project‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, review cycles, and external contributors

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Bonus: Experience with developer marketing, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, data platforms, product‑led growth, SQL, or content performance reporting in BI tools
