Position Overview:

As a Construction Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and driving the successful completion of construction projects. This role requires an individual who thrives in a high-energy environment and excels at working closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Your ability to foster teamwork, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a strong client focus will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring all project goals are met in a fast-paced and client-focused environment. Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Provide regular updates and address any concerns or changes promptly.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, trade partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and cooperation. Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and problem-solving.
  • Schedule Management: Develop and manage project’s schedule in concert with the project superintendent and our trade partners. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to stay on track and within financial constraints.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets industry standards, building codes, and client specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to address any issues proactively.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Address and resolve any challenges that arise during the construction process.
  • Problem Solving: Provide effective solutions to project-related problems and conflicts. Utilize creative thinking and resourcefulness to overcome obstacles and keep projects moving forward.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members and subcontractors. Promote a culture of safety and compliance on all projects.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and compliance records. Provide detailed reports and updates to stakeholders as required.
Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5)years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of managing projects in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
