Position Overview
As Vice President, you will lead JLL PDS's dedicated program team supporting a large scale, long-duration federal development program in the Virginia Beach area. You will own the executive-level client relationship, oversee a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers, and represent JLL in senior client engagements.
What your day-to-day will look like
  • Lead JLL's program team, with accountability for staffing, delivery, and client satisfaction.
  • Own the executive-level client relationship.
  • Represent JLL in senior client engagements on program strategy, risk, and performance.
  • Manage vendor performance across the program, including program-level cost and schedule management.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor Senior Project Managers and Project Managers on the team.
  • Coordinate with JLL leadership on staffing, financial performance, and reporting.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand JLL's role with the client and adjacent federal counterparts.

Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of construction project management experience, including ground-up construction and significant leadership roles.
  • Direct NAVFAC project experience with a track record of leading Department of Defense construction programs.
  • Multi-family residential development experience in a developer or owner's representative capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a vendors on programs of comparable scale, including managing counterparty teams of approximately 50 personnel.
  • Change order review and approval authority experience on programs of significant scale.
  • Proven ability to interact with military leadership at the Pentagon and general officer level.
  • Team leadership experience managing Senior Project Managers and Project Managers.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Virginia Beach area five days per week.

Preferred qualifications
  • PMP certification and/or advanced degree (MBA, MS).
  • Prior leadership on Public-Private Venture (PPV) military housing programs or student housing privatation initiations.
  • Established relationships within NAVFAC, OSD, or Navy installation leadership.
  • Business development experience within federal and DoD markets.

Estimated compensation for this position:
155,000.00 - 220,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
