Onda Corporation, a leader in ultrasound metrology technology for the biomedical and industrial sectors, is seeking a highly motivated Applications/Sales Engineer. Our clients include Fortune 10 companies and academic institutions globally, and were looking for someone who excels in both technical expertise and customer relations.
As an Applications Engineer, you will drive the sales process from technology evaluation to customer success. Youll work directly with customers and Sales Partners, demonstrating and applying Onda's ultrasound products to diverse use cases, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with R&D to enhance our offerings.
Working in a small business, you will be expected to fulfill multiple roles in the company, depending on the skillset that you bring. We encourage both motivated new graduates as well as experienced professionals to apply.
Responsibilities:
  • Represent Onda products to customers and Sales Partners, ensuring a strong technical and commercial match.
  • Deliver demos, training, and installations for Onda ultrasound measurement tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with customers and Sales Partners.
  • Document, track and manage all support requests, RMAs, communications, and actions in CRM.
  • Identify and report trends that lead to improvements to Onda products/services.
  • Create product/application content for customer support.
  • Provide feedback to shape the next generation of Onda products.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in physics or engineering, Masters or PhD (in related field) an asset.
  • Strong customer interaction and presentation skills.
  • Advanced data analysis skills; ability to comb through data quickly to draw clear conclusions.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and adept at managing multiple tasks while easily accommodating changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • 2-5 years of technical/field support experience in metrology or scientific instrumentation, or equivalent experience in R&D role(s) is a plus. Experience in ultrasound engineering or instrumentation preferred.
  • Knowledge of the medical and/or industrial ultrasound market is a plus.
