Job Summary:
EngineeRD Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Systems Administrator Associate to join their dynamic team. The role involves maintaining and improving IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of systems and applications, and providing technical support to end-users.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the management and administration of our IT infrastructure, including VPC Web Server Hosting, Business Website, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, Teams, Intune Endpoint Manager, Atlassian Jira Cloud, Adobe Admin Console, Amazon Web Services, Amazon Business, Apple Business Manager, and other related technologies.
• Support and maintain existing systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Monitor system performance using Cloud Administration tools and proactively address potential bottlenecks or vulnerabilities.
• Perform incident and problem management using IITILv4 techniques and Atlassian Jira Service Manager tools.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades, patches, and migrations.
• Provide technical support to end-users, responding to inquiries and resolving problems in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop computer scripts and Cloud Flows for automation of business processes and repeatable IT procedures.
• Design new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and processes for information systems used in operations management.
• Collaborate with software developers and other teams to ensure the smooth integration of IT systems into the overall software development life cycle (SDLC) design.
• Assist in web software development projects, utilizing skills in JavaScript (jQuery, React, AJAX), Python, HTML, and other relevant programming languages.
• Provision and deprovision employees of the organization during onboarding/offboarding tasks involving application assignment, licensing enrollment, permissions, and equipment management.
• Perform shipping and logistics on new procurement of IT equipment or returned assets.
• Engage Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and manage case management when support escalation is required for IT issues.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of beginner-level experience with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Power Platform, Endpoint Manager, Atlassian Admin, Atlassian Jira Work Management, Adobe Admin Console, AWS, Apple Business Manager, and other related technologies.
• Solid understanding of IT systems administration principles, best practices, and methodologies.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) design and processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, React, HTML, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within defined timelines.
• Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal oversight on assigned technical projects.
Preferred:
• Any relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS) would be an advantage.
