The Furnishings Technician reports directly to the Department Lead.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Performs disassembly, repair and cleaning of aircraft components according to customer's specifications, airworthiness directives, applicable manufacturers' CMM guidelines and operating procedures.
  • Maintains current knowledge of and complies with customer regulations as applicable to the work assigned.
  • Ensure familiarity with all shop equipment operations and their maintenance and be able to understand component maintenance manuals and all other applicable technical documents.

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to write descriptive statements concerning the condition of the assemblies being worked on.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Must have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to use hand tools and mechanical experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for 8 to 10 hours.

Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in related field with strong mechanical and/or mechanical
  • Minimum 2 years' experience within the aerospace/aviation industry.
