This role is conducted entirely in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility and a strong work-life balance. The therapy sessions will be conducted during regular business hours, from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that you have evenings and weekends free for personal time. As a Mental Health Therapist at Countryside Psychiatric Services, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients for mood disorder symptoms, including their severity and duration.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients to effectively address their unique needs and therapeutic goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide effective treatment for mood disorders.
• Provide educational resources and ongoing support to clients and their families, explaining treatment options and self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress throughout treatment, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to mental health care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders.
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans following legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations to enhance clinical skills and share best practices.
• Advocate for client mental health needs while helping to destigmatize mood disorders in the broader community.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals struggling with various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Your therapeutic approach will focus on building strong relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds, offering them a safe space to express their thoughts and feelings. You will play a critical role in helping clients navigate their challenges while providing them with the tools and strategies necessary for sustainable mental well-being.

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC in the state of New Jersey.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to mood disorders.
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and an ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.
• Excellent communication skills and a history of establishing rapport with clients from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be advantageous:

• Demonstrated success in improving client outcomes for individuals with mood disorders.
• Previous experience working in outpatient mental health settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote treatment delivery.
• Participation in community outreach or advocacy programs related to mental health.
