Job description

SUMMARY
Seeking adjunct faculty to teach various undergraduate Nursing courses on campus in Spring Arbor, MI. Particular needs include OB, Pediatrics, Community Health, Mental Health, and Research.
Spring Arbor University is a community of learners distinguished by our lifelong involvement in the study and application of the liberal arts, total commitment to Jesus Christ as the perspective of learning, and critical participation in the contemporary world. The successful candidate will be able to articulate how they would seek to integrate the Christian faith into teaching Nursing and will be someone who enjoys working with students and other faculty. Faculty must exhibit a life and service that is in full accord with the Spring Arbor University Concept, Statement of Faith, and Community Covenant, as well as be thoroughly supportive of the University’s mission and values as an evangelical Christian University affiliated with the Free Methodist Church.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Applicants must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Nursing, or have a masters degree plus a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Nursing faculty must hold a current unrestricted license as an RN in Michigan. A record of successful college teaching and experience is preferred.
Experience working in multicultural academic environments preferred and individuals from diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
