Key job responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated software development engineer who is excited to solve database problems and proficient in C++ or similar languages. You will design and deliver new algorithms and features that drive Neptune's high availability, reliability and performance guarantees to AWS customers. You will participate in project execution to develop cutting-edge database service capabilities while working with amazing team members.

As you design and code solutions to help our team drive efficiencies in software architecture, you'll create metrics, implement automation and other improvements, and resolve the root cause of software defects
