Location: Burr Ridge, IL (Field-based role serving South Side Chicago & Northwest Indiana)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Summary

As a Franchise Business Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to independently owned franchise businesses throughout the South Side of Chicago and Northwest Indiana. Your focus will be helping franchise owners improve operations, maintain exceptional customer satisfaction, and grow their businesses.

This is a field-based position, with approximately 80% of your time spent visiting customer locations and franchise owners, and 20% dedicated to administrative responsibilities from the regional office.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with assigned franchise owners.
  • Conduct routine operational audits to ensure brand standards are met.
  • Identify operational successes and areas for improvement through proactive site visits.
  • Coach franchise owners on best practices for customer service, operations, and business growth.
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns and support account retention efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services that can increase franchise owner revenue.
  • Develop relationships with customer site contacts to strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Support franchise owners with customer onboarding and offboarding.
  • Conduct business planning sessions with franchise owners.
  • Provide technical guidance on commercial cleaning procedures when needed.
  • Complete accurate documentation and administrative reporting in a timely manner.
  • Participate in on-call support as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in janitorial operations and customer service.
  • Strong understanding of commercial cleaning operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with floor stripping and waxing, carpet extraction, and floor buffing.
  • Experience servicing schools, healthcare facilities, automotive dealerships, or similar commercial environments.
