Description:

We are looking for a Franchise Business Consultant to join our team!

The Franchise Business Consultant (FBC) is a key member of the Operations Team with responsibility for Great American Cookies, Marble Slab Creamery & Pretzelmaker (QSR Brands). 


A great FBC is a collaborative and energetic relationship-builder with the business acumen and drive to achieve stated goals of same store sales growth, improvement in store level/network unit level economics & profitability, and consumer experience. Their role is critical to helping their Franchisees to uphold the Brand standards, always helping them see their business through a consumer lens. They will always approach their Franchisees with a holistic view of not only the Brands and locations they own, but the digital footprint that helps to drive Brand awareness and growth. The FBC will also take the lead in coordinating the new opening & transfer process, training, and follow-up support for new Brand development.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

•     Travel regularly to Franchisees to provide appropriate coaching, training, and tools. These visits also serve to ensure brand protection in all areas, including operations, marketing, training, FA adherence, etc.

•     Collaborate with Franchisees to safeguard proper standards regarding effective operations, guest experience, adherence to purchasing requirements with approved vendors, and implementation of training programs for management and team members.

•     Collect and analyze yearly P&L assisting Franchisees with analyzing their business opportunities and areas for improvement to unit level economics and overall profitability. 

•     Facilitate the Yearly Business Review process to help improve results and obtain business excellence within individual Franchisee organizations.

•     Identify at-risk Franchisees to ensure active transfer strategy is proactively initiated.

•     Act as a liaison between FAT Brands Corporate Office and Franchisees. 

•     Deliver same store sales objectives and strategic goals.

•     Foster regular communication between corporate departments and Franchisees.

•     Recognize challenges in a positive, productive manner and recommend solutions to create efficiencies within the QSR operations team. 

•     Frequent use of a computer and other technology is essential to the successful completion of your everyday responsibilities.

•     Frequent use of mental energy while expressing or exchanging ideas and information with cross-functional colleagues, Franchisees, and extended QSR team.

•     Routine use of physical energy while traveling (up to 75%), visiting Franchisees and their locations.

•     Routine need to shift priorities among simultaneous projects, while upholding quality and sense of urgency, and overall positive attitude. 

•     Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred in business or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive supervisory franchise management or district level multi-unit operations experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of P&L statements, inventory and cash control, customer service procedures, and QA/Food safety standards.
  • Proficient understanding of relevant business software, MS Office Suite, and supporting hardware.
  • ServSafe Certified (if applicable)
  • Up to 75% travel, with a valid credit card and reliable transportation is required.

 Ideal candidate would reside in the Houston, Texas area.
