Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development & New Opportunity Generation
    • Lead market research to identify addressable opportunities and prioritize high-potential projects.
    • Drive proactive outreach and cultivate new and existing client relationships.
    • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of qualified opportunities.
    • Attend industry conferences and seminars; arrange speaking engagements for senior leadership.
    • Engage in client entertainment and networking activities with potential and existing clients.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagement and relationship nurturing.
    • Coordinate client meetings, networking events, and follow-up activities to strengthen long-term partnerships.
    • Support client entertainment and business development initiatives.
  • Draft, edit, and produce high-quality proposals, RFQs, RFPs, qualifications packages, and presentations.
  • Develop compelling narratives, project descriptions, case studies, and interview materials.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (estimating, project management, safety, etc.) to deliver winning submissions.
  • Marketing & Brand Management
    • Lead content creation for social media, LinkedIn, website updates, and marketing collateral.
    • Manage brand voice and visual consistency across all materials.
    • Support award submissions, thought leadership, event promotion, and overall firm visibility efforts.
    • Track marketing effectiveness and help shape the company’s growth strategy.

  • 4+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or proposal management (AEC/construction industry experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and contribute to winning new work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM tools; InDesign/Photoshop experience a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Base Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Performance Incentives / Commission: Attractive variable structure tied to pipeline development and won projects.
  • Total Target Cash Compensation (OTE): $130,000 – $170,000+ depending on performance.
  • Client Entertainment Budget: $10,000 annual expense account.
  • Comprehensive benefits package and hybrid work flexibility.
