The Frame Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling frame components used in the production of finished products. This role works within the Frame Shop to assemble frames according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and company quality standards. The Frame Assembly Technician supports efficient production operations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble frame components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Verify parts and materials prior to assembly to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete frame assembly tasks.
  • Inspect assembled frames to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements.
  • Identify and report any defects, material issues, or discrepancies to the Frame Shop Lead or Supervisor.
  • Maintain an organized work area and ensure tools and materials are properly stored.
  • Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with moving materials, parts, and finished frames within the department as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other Frame Shop team members to meet production schedules and goals.
  • Support other production activities within the Frame Shop when needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and basic engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use common hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and work effectively in a team environment.
