Reports to: Store Manager

Classification: Hourly Non-Exempt

Work Environment: On-Site


OVERVIEW

The Retail Sales Lead has a strong emphasis on customer service along with product knowledge and visual presentations. Implements and follows the store business plans and ensures operational processes are executed through collaboration with the Store Manager and store team. Serves as a role model and provides guidance to the store team in presenting an excellent customer experience to maximize sales. This position requires a high level of comfort in building rapport through customer interactions. The Retail Sales Lead may be required to conduct opening and closing functions as business schedules require.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate selling, incentive and product knowledge strategies
  • Cover sales floor at all times
  • Open/close the store
  • Maintain awareness of all sale promotions
  • Replenish sales floor as needed
  • Execute store maintenance checklist (neat, clean and tidy) including service desk.
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior, acting with honesty and transparency in all professional interactions.
  • Effectively adjust to different customer personalities
  • Able to operate computerized register system & use common tools
  • Demonstrate a strong achievement drive to meet and exceed sales goals, consistently striving for excellence and delivering high-quality results
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales plan
  • Strengthen and develop relationship with existing customers
  • Demonstrate flexibility when faced with changing priorities and work environments, maintaining effectiveness and efficiency under varying circumstances and responding to new challenges and opportunities
  • Consistently meet deadlines and deliverables, showing a reliable and responsible work ethic. Ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time, demonstrating commitment and consistency.
  • Exhibit a confident and proactive approach in all tasks, making informed decisions and taking initiative when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous retail experience or relevant customer service experience
  • Proven track record in achieving sales results
  • Willingness to work non- traditional business hours including nights, weekends & holidays
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and problem solving abilities
  • Great team-building, project managements and organizational skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of personalities with the desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Will be able to work with a diverse client base
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Preferred proficiency in Point of Sales (POS ) systems & Microsoft Outlook/email
  • Ability to swiftly absorb new information, processes and technologies.
