Be a critical part of our expanding Fragrance & Beauty (F&B) community at CHANEL -- "the ultimate House of Luxury." Be the Host of your boutique as the Boutique Director in our brand-new F&B Boutique located in (INSERT LOCATION). Team Development
  • Ensure continuous growth and development of boutique staff with a focus on succession planning and career development.

  • Create and drive development plans, oversee annual review process for all store employees

  • Leverage fluency in product, service, and artistry skills to coach and support the boutique team, elevating their skills and expertise to deliver an exceptional client experience

  • Facilitate regular team communication sessions to ensure seamless communication of promotional activity, performance to goal, corporate initiatives, and any other important topics

  • Proactively identify, address, and resolve employee issues in a professional manner and in accordance with CHANEL standards, policies, and procedures; partnering with HR as needed

  • Own recruitment for all positions on the team, including freelancers: attract, recruit, and retain

  • Ensure a consistent and effective on-boarding experience for new hires

Leadership

Client Experience and Development
  • Provide a unique and memorable in store and after sales experience to every client, every day, and at every point of sale by being the Host of your boutique

Business Driver and Brand Ambassador
  • Consistently achieve the overall sales objectives using all levers, including but not limited to products, services, and events to drive and maximize sales performance

  • Strive towards boutique excellence by effective goal setting in the area of sales, KPI's, clienteling, service behaviors, and CRM

  • Utilize client data to retain, recruit, and grow client return rates

  • Develop business initiatives that will continue to grow the client base, drive sales and the company's presence in the marketplace, with particular emphasis on building events relevant to the local market

  • Proactively maintaining up-to-date awareness of the current industry trends and news, local trends, and competitive activity

  • Continuously network to identify and execute strategic growth opportunities through building relationships within the local community

Operations and Reporting
  • Manage and drive appropriate stock levels of merchandise, communicate to corporate if there are any issues

  • Oversee, in partnership with the Assistant Manager all operational tasks

  • Recap weekly store performance and events ensuring timely submission

  • Monitor store expenses (including personnel costs) and maintain operating budgets, while continually striving to reduce overall costs

  • Support, promote, and assume responsibility for loss prevention in all areas of risk management, physical security, store cash controls, inventory management, inter-store communication, and L/P audits

  • Manage and optimize the staff scheduling to ensure adequate floor coverage for a superior customer service and effectively drive sales in collaboration with the Assistant Manager

  • Coordinate schedule requests, paid time off, holiday, and over-time and leave processing with HR/Payroll as they occur

Position Logistics:
  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience

  • A flexible schedule with the ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays

  • Boutique Management:Requires in-store presence to develop and coach teams, ensure boutique image and operational standards are upheld, and deliver elevated client service to drive business results

Compensation:
  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $100,000 through $120,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay will be offered for this position. Other components will include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks
