This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This job announcement will fill multiple vacancies for Supervisory Interdisciplinary positions at full-performance level (FPL) GS-13 in Buffalo, NY; Pittsburgh, PA; Sault Ste Marie, MI; Wright-Patterson AFB, OH and full-performance level (FPL) GS-14 in Buffalo, NY & Pittsburgh, PA.Qualifications:This job announcement will fill multiple vacancies at the full performance levels (FPLs) of GS-13 and GS-14. In your application, select the duty locations and corresponding FPL grade levels you want to be considered. Applicants selected at the FPL are not eligible for promotion to a higher grade without competition or a valid non-competitive eligibility. This is not a developmental job announcement.
Who May Apply: US Citizens

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. TO QUALIFY FOR THE FPL GS-13: Specialized Experience: One year of leading interdisciplinary project teams to execute complex technical objectives; managing and monitoring comprehensive project management lifecycles; and serving as a primary liaison to continuously communicate project status and resolve issues with customers, project stakeholders, and/or Federal agency representatives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
In addition to Specialized Experience mentioned above, you MUST meet one or more of the individual occupational requirements (IOR) stated below for the GS-13 grade level (please click the link next to the corresponding series to view qualification requirements):
Basic Requirement for Architecture, series 0808: Architecture Series
Basic Requirement for Engineering, series 0800: Professional Engineering
Basic Requirement for Geologist, series 1350: Geology Series

TO QUALIFY FOR THE FPL GS-14: Specialized Experience: One year of serving as a supervisor managing, evaluating, and directing the work of a professional engineering and scientific workforce; acting as an authoritative spokesperson and technical representative for assigned programs to brief senior leadership, external partners, and regulatory bodies; and establishing comprehensive communication frameworks to keep all high-level stakeholders, agency officials, and public/private partners continuously informed of critical project operations, risks, and milestones. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
In addition to Specialized Experience mentioned above, you MUST meet one or more of the individual occupational requirements (IOR) stated below for the GS-14 grade level (please click the link next to the corresponding series to view qualification requirements):
