If so, we are looking for driven, goal-oriented people like you to join our team as an Electrical Engineer. Here's what you will need to do:
  • Design site-wide power distribution systems from 15 Kilovolts to 120 Volts
  • Analyze power systems using software packages such as SKM, ETAP or EasyPower for arc flash and power system analysis
  • Travel to client sites to obtain field measurements, evaluate equipment for reuse, and support new equipment start-up
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to generate seamlessly coordinated projects that make our clients' projects a huge success
  • Lead the development of construction drawing sets for a wide range of industrial projects-from brand new, state-of-the-art facilities to minor system upgrades-while managing a project team of electrical engineers, designers, and drafters to ensure high-quality work and effective team communication.
  • Desire to learn and implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) protocols that keep us on the leading edge of technology
  • Have a strong understanding of the National Electric Code and industry standards for power distribution supporting large heavy industrial and pulp and paper industries
  • Provide technical guidance to other members of the electrical design team
  • Implement departmental improvement initiatives leading to more efficient design practices and robust QA/QC procedures
