Job description

Description:

Skorpios Technologies is seeking an experienced Foundry Sales and Business Development Manager to drive growth within our Foundry Services Business Unit. This individual will be responsible for developing new business, expanding relationships with existing customers, and building and managing a robust sales pipeline from initial opportunity identification through contract award and revenue realization.

The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and foundry processes with demonstrated business development and sales experience. The Foundry Sales and Business Development Manager will serve as a key interface between customers and Skorpios' Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Executive teams, ensuring that customer requirements are clearly understood and translated into executable business opportunities.

This position requires a highly motivated, customer-focused professional who is comfortable engaging at both the technical and executive levels and has a demonstrated ability to develop relationships, navigate complex sales cycles, and close business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth for Skorpios' Foundry Services business through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing customer relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified foundry and semiconductor manufacturing opportunities.
  • Develop and execute account and sales strategies for targeted customers and market segments.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from initial customer engagement and technical discussions through RFQ, quotation, negotiation, purchase order, program kickoff, and ongoing account management.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to evaluate customer requirements, determine technical feasibility, develop program scope, and establish appropriate schedules and resource requirements.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity status, customer action items, and expected revenue timing.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established revenue, bookings, pipeline, and business development objectives.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required; degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or another technical discipline preferred.

  • 5+ years of semiconductor industry experience, with relevant experience in semiconductor foundry services, wafer fabrication, process integration, engineering, business development, technical sales, or ASIC/foundry sales.
  • Strong working knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and the semiconductor foundry business model.
  • Ability to understand customer process flows and technical requirements and effectively communicate those requirements to internal engineering and manufacturing organizations.
  • Experience developing quotations, commercial proposals, and negotiating technical and commercial terms with customers.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively from engineering and procurement organizations through senior executive management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment involving Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership.

Additional Requirements

  • Must meet applicable U.S. export-control and ITAR requirements for access to controlled information and programs.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, primarily within the United States, with occasional international travel as business needs require.

Location: This position is based in Temecula, California. An alternate location or remote arrangement may be considered for an exceptional candidate with relevant semiconductor foundry experience and demonstrated ability to effectively support customers and the Skorpios organization.

Work Environment
