Intel Foundry is looking for a highly driven and disciplined Strategic/Development Industrial Engineer to coordinate data, systems, decision analysis, business processes, and modeling of products and technologies, with a specific focus on capacity and cost.
You will play a pivotal role by driving strategies that enhance our manufacturing and operational capabilities. You will forecast, design, and plan strategies that align with market trends and customer demands. Your expertise will empower stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions, enabling seamless execution of Intel's vision for world-class manufacturing excellence.
Note: This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Partnering closely with technology development, supply chain/sourcing, HVM factories, finance, and other organizations to develop and maintain data, systems, models, and business processes that enable decision analysis and operations to take place
  • Provide strategic guidance to organizational leadership by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Facilitating business processes and leading focused efforts tied to decision timing milestones across large and diverse groups of stakeholders that ensure execution toward targets and commitments
  • Coordinating and/or performing scenario-based analysis across multiple teams/disciplines to quantify risks, opportunities, and impacts of changes; and then communicating the results of these at all levels of the organization to influence effective decision making and execution
  • Developing should-cost, NPV/ROI, and other types of financial models to assess both baseline and what-if trade-offs/alternatives for products, architectures, processes, technologies, equipment, and other areas
  • Maintaining data systems and reports that are used across Intel Foundry
  • Proactively develop and drive strategic initiatives for improving department capabilities and/or efficiencies
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to define the long range capacity strategy, with consideration of product roadmaps, architecture, demand, parameters, factory capability, affordability, space, and forecast uncertainty
  • Works with leadership to determine, articulate, and execute the go forward vision, strategies, and tactics to develop a world class organization.
  • Leverages various data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights to make recommendations and influence strategies.
  • Investigates, designs, and develops production capacity models, layout models, and data systems to balance production efficiency, eliminating waste, and reducing costs, while adhering to technical process requirements and maintaining quality standards.
  • Develops and optimizes equipment schedule durations, schedule logic, and procurement requirements to ramp new technologies.
  • Other similar or related items

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics discipline and 3+ years of relevant experience OR;
  • A Master's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics discipline and 2+ years of relevant experience OR;
  • A PhD in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics discipline and 1+ years of relevant experience.

Relevant experiences should include:

  • Experience synthesizing abstract complex data into clear messages for impactful presentations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of core Industrial Engineering concepts
  • Must have demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes such as Wafer Fabrication, Advanced Packaging, Testing, and others
  • Proven track record of high performance and significant accomplishments
  • Excellent business acumen, technical understanding, and organizational savvy
  • Expertise in networking and collaborating across multiple groups and disciplines
  • Ability to independently manage diverse assignments and drive strategies in complex environments
  • Detail-oriented with strong data analysis skills to drive financial results
  • Experience in capacity and cost modeling within manufacturing environments
  • Exceptional collaboration and influence across cross-functional teams and all organizational levels
  • Leadership experience in executing fast-paced, complex projects
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, impactful presentations

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $103,730.00-198,820.00 USDThe range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
