An innovative manufacturing company, offering high quality engineering components to OEM's for critical applications in industries such as aerospace, marine, energy, oil and gas, petrochemical and wider engineering or industrial sectors.
The company has developed organically, through their aspirational vision, clear strategy and strong desire to achieve. Which has positioned them as a trusted partner for many of the world's leading companies.
Due to continued growth, they are currently looking to appoint a Business Development Manager / Technical Sales person to join their team to generate sales throughout North America.
Job Description
Salary Circa $60,000 - $90,000 (Depending on Experience) + Bonus & Benefits.

The primary function of this position will be to utilise your proven skills in technical solution sales, business development, negotiation and relationship building to proactively manage customer relationships and generate sales opportunities from current and new customers.
You will responsible for sales throughout the US and overseas, where you will be supported and encouraged to build a strong portfolio of customers which meets agreed targets, aligning with business objectives in the North American region.

Qualifications
  • You will have previously held a career in the foundry/metals/engineering/metallurgical industry leading to several years experience in a technical related sales position, this should ideally be within the foundry/castings sector or a closely allied market such as forgings or sub-contract manufacturing/machining.
  • You will be technically strong with the ability to understand drawings, castings specifications, tolerances and technical requirements.
  • You will be a strong communicator and negotiator, with the ability to discuss and provide customers with advice and bespoke solutions to their casting and foundry products requirements.
  • You will ideally hold a academic qualifications or will be able to demonstrate the equivalent knowledge and skills gained from your experience within the foundry, casting and engineered components industry.
  • You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in technical solution sales to leading OEM's Aerospace, Marine, Energy, Oil and Gas, Hydraulics, Defence, Construction, Petrochemical and wider engineering or industrial focused sectors
