Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children,  and the Adult population.  In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well.  Wellstone is seeking a dynamic and talented RN, 7p-7a, NEW GRADS WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Registered Nurse is a registered professional nurse who delivers, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.  The RN must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served.  Non-exempt hourly position.  Every other/3rd weekend will be required.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

  • Current license to practice nursing in Indiana (or eligible to receive or renew).
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an ASN or BSN.
  • Experience in health care preferred but not required.
  • Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65yrs+.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification, CPI & appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint prior to assisting in a restraining process. Must pass a medication administration exam.

Hours of Work: 7p-7a, NO WEEKENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
