Company Description

Scan and type to receive in shipments, create new tickets (SRO), update and track inventory locations and coordinate scheduled cycle counts. Assist in maintaining central and offsite warehouse locations and parts inventory. Keep track of ticket due dates and corresponding shipments accordingly. Process the packaging of company and customer owned equipment as well as working with freight companies to schedule pick ups and deliveries. Order all shipping and warehouse supplies, review freight invoices for accuracy and submit to accounts payable. Coordinate all reorganizing and relocation of labs, offices, cubicles and warehouses.

Job Description

The candidate will need to have fluent typing skills 60wpm for data entry. The position requires heavy data entry on a PC.  The candidate must be able to operate a fork lift and pallet jack. Juggle several tasks at once and work well with others but also work independently without specific instructions or supervision.

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form as well as the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Adherence to ISO processes.

Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals in addition to computing rates, ratios and percents to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years warehouse or shipping/receiving experience with data entry on a PC.
