Job description
The Senior Associate, Investment Operations Data, will play a key role in supporting the implementation and ongoing operation of the firm's investment data operating model as part of a major transformation to deploy a new enterprise data management platform. This individual contributor will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, timely, and reliable data across IBOR, ABOR, investment processes, middle-office workflows, compliance, and reporting.Â
This position will be part of the Data Operations team in Investment Operations and will act as a subject matter expert and primary executor across data operations workflows, platform implementation activities, and data quality initiatives. The role requires deep expertise in investment data, strong analytical capabilities, and hands-on experience working within complex, multi-asset environments.Â
This position will partner across Front Office, Technology, Risk, Operations, and external vendors to support the delivery of a scalable, well-governed data ecosystem.Â
What You Will Do:Â
Data Platform Implementation and SupportÂ
Act as a core contributor to the implementation of the new data management platform, supporting business requirements, testing, and rollout activities.Â
Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements across data ingestion, mastering, validation, enrichment, integration, and distribution.Â
Support data migration, reconciliation, and UAT efforts, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data across systems.Â
Partner with Technology and vendors to troubleshoot issues, validate enhancements, and support Agile delivery cycles.Â
Contribute to ensuring the platform supports IBOR production, investment processes, risk analytics, compliance, and reporting needs.Â
Operational Data managementÂ
Execute and oversee daily data operations processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of investment data.Â
Investigate, resolve, and escalate data quality issues across security master, pricing, corporate actions, reference data, positions, transactions, and exposures.Â
Perform reconciliations and validation checks across internal systems, custodians, and third-party data providers.Â
Support the maintenance of data quality frameworks, dashboards, and controls.Â
Document workflows, data definitions, and operating procedures to ensure consistency and transparency.Â
Data Quality and ControlsÂ
 Apply and monitor data quality rules, tolerances, and exception management processes.Â
Support the implementation of controls across key datasets, including security master, pricing, corporate actions, and transactional data.Â
Analyze root causes of data issues and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.Â
Partner with the VP and broader team to enhance data governance and stewardship practices.Â
Cross Functional CollaborationÂ
Partner with Front Office, Investment Operations, Risk, Finance, and Compliance teams to understand data requirements and support delivery.Â
Work closely with Technology teams to refine data flows, improve system integrations, and enhance automation.Â
Engage with external vendors (custodians, pricing providers, asset managers) to resolve data discrepancies and improve data quality.Â
Communicate findings, issues, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.Â
Continuous Improvement & InnovationÂ
Identify opportunities to improve data processes, enhance automation, and reduce manual intervention.Â
Support development of reporting, dashboards, and self-service data capabilities.Â
Contribute to scaling data processes as the firm expands into new asset classes and geographies.Â

What You Will Have:Â
Bachelor's degree Finance, Information Technology preferred
3-6+ years of experience in investment operations, data management, IBOR operations, or asset management environmentsÂ
