Job description

As a Formulation Technician, you will work in an aseptic (cleanroom) environment to operate formulation and filtration equipment. During the course of your shift, you will be trained to perform the following:

Maintain records and cleanroom environment to comply with regulatory requirements, good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Clean in Place (CIP)/Steam in Place (SIP) of process vessels and all related processing equipment
  • Follow the process flow work instructions and communicate all processing variations to the supervisor
  • Understand and adhere to the assigned standard operating procedures in the Aseptic area
  • Operate the Water for Injection heat exchangers
  • Qualify to gown for cleanroom entrance
  • Utilize aseptic technique good manufacturing practices
  • Complete batch records as processing steps occurring utilizing good documentation practices

To qualify as a Formulation Technician, you’ll need the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience preferably in the medical device, pharmaceutical or similarly regulated industry
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes at all times
  • Willingness to be flexible with a work schedule that may require overtime
  • Have a strong mechanical ability
  • Able to stand for the majority of your shift
  • In addition, it’s preferred that you have some post-secondary science and/or technical training, along with previous cleanroom experience

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm
Starting Pay: $25.00/hour
