EBO (Mask Reticle) Manufacturing Technician

TSMC Arizona is looking for a EBO Manufacturing Technician to join our 4-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. TSMC Arizona's EBO Manufacturing Department is responsible for monitoring mask manufacturing and repair process, process analysis, and collaborative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Work onsite in clean room environment on 12-13-hour shifts, 3-4 days per week.
  • Utilize technical aptitude, process analysis, issue escalation, monitor processing times, and work in collaborative team environment.
  • Learn the mask manufacturing, repair process, and stay informed of procedural changes.
  • Monitor integrated systems to ensure proper functioning of automated tools.
  • Responding to error messages of tools or masks and able to handle them with trouble shooting skills defined in SOP.
  • Assist in executing department daily functions, including data collection & analysis.
  • Training for these positions take 6-12 months to learn which include OJT, SOP, and Trainer led lessons.
  • Must be able to do team rotation, from process team to repair team or vice versa, if required by supervisors.
  • Ensure the pass-down notes thoroughly are delivered to the incoming shift.
  • Ensure staffing coverage during production hours, balance, and cover team members duties.
  • Learn the mask manufacturing process for all parts of mask reticle functions, to include process, clean, inspection, and repair.
  • Rotate work responsibility within 4-sections of Mask Reticle modules.
  • Utilizes our training, SOP procedures, structured workflows, able to follow detailed procedures to complete tasks, and support documentation/tracking.
  • Ensure knowledge alignment to production standards on a quarterly basis.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • High school Diploma or GED.
  • 2 +years of experience of working in a team environment with a common goal.
  • Fundamental Microsoft Excel/ PowerPoint/ Word and computer skills.
  • Able to wear clean room suit while standing and/or walking for a 12-hour shift in the FAB.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AAS Degree, or Technical Certificate.
  • Some work experience and/or experience working in a manufacturing setting.

This position is a full-time temporary/contract position as a TSMC employee. Candidates will go through rigorous training anywhere from 2-4 months depending on training progress and business needs. The training schedule could vary from regular shift hours of M-F 9am-6pm and/or compressed schedule compressed work week assignment (3/4 - 4/3 rotating shift schedule, 12 hour shifts (which can include night shifts)), based on trainer availability. Selected candidates will be provided the opportunity to extend their training contracts or accept an offer to convert to a non-temporary, direct TSMC employee, depending on performance, compliance with company policies, training progress, and business needs.
