Job description

Job Title: Assistant Technician
Location: Coatesville, PA – 200 Stewart Huston Drive
Duration: Contract 12Months
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
 

Job Description:

CTDI is seeking Assistant Technicians to repair and rework electronic devices, primarily cell phones. Cell phone repair experience is preferred, but candidates with experience using power tools and assembling/disassembling small electronics (computers, game consoles, internet devices, etc.) will also be considered. Training will be provided for candidates with the right aptitude.

Responsibilities:

Disassemble and reassemble cell phones

Diagnose and analyze device failures using standard procedures

Perform break/fix repairs per OEM standards

Remove and replace LCD screens

Remove and reinstall motherboard and battery

Replace screws and electronic components

Document repair work using basic computer systems

Perform other assigned duties as needed

Required Skills:

Experience in electronics assembly/disassembly

Basic troubleshooting and rework experience

Ability to use hand tools and power tools

Attention to detail and quality-focused work

Basic computer skills for documentation

Willingness to learn and be trained

Preferred Skills:

Cell phone repair experience

Experience working with small electronic devices
