Join the Franzenburg Team

Franzenburg is looking for a motivated Assembly / Disassembly Technician to join our production team. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving mechanical challenges, and taking pride in producing high-quality work, we'd love to meet you.

In this role, you'll disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble industrial centrifuges while working alongside an experienced team committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Disassemble and assemble industrial centrifuges following company procedures and work instructions.
  • Clean, inspect, and prepare components for repair and assembly.
  • Read blueprints, manuals, and work orders to ensure repairs are completed accurately.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Use company computer systems to track work orders and production progress.
  • Adjust priorities to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
  • Identify damaged or worn components and communicate findings to management.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the shop.

What We're Looking For

  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office and inventory systems preferred).
  • Manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or industrial repair experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand and walk throughout the workday.
  • Frequently lift 20–80 pounds.
