Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial and Budget Consultant to join our team to support our government clients. The successful applicant will join our Data and Artificial Intelligence practice in the DC Metro Area. The candidate will also provide evidence-based financial analysis, innovative budget solutions, and robust process management for our clients.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Financial and Budget Consultant, you will:

  • Lead program management support functions by leveraging financial and budget management experiences to lead cost-benefit and ROI and analyses, support budget formulation and reporting, and draft justifications and reconciliations
  • Translate policy and strategic initiatives into design, development and implementation of innovative budget solutions supported by data analysis, reports, metrics, processes, and tools
  • Interpret appropriations language, executive orders, OMB circulars, and etc. to support performance management, policy implementation and monitoring, data visualization, policy analysis, forecasting, and reporting
  • Evaluate existing budgetary processes and tools to resolve gaps and develop improvement plans
  • Review existing reports, metrics, and analytics for automation and improvement as appropriate
  • Facilitate effective and efficient business communications between all stakeholders
  • Draft, edit, and manage written communications such as executive summaries, memorandums, policy memos, and briefings
  • Adapt within a fast-paced environment and display flexibility to adjust goals and priorities to generate on-time and high-quality deliverables that meet client requirements
  • Mentor less expert team members
  • Support business development and opportunity pursuits

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree or higher
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in:
    • Leading Federal financial reporting and budget management as a part of consulting in project management, modeling, cost-benefit analysis, reporting, tracking, reconciliation, justification, formulation, and etc.
    • Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
    • Statistical reporting
    • Project and process management
    • Leading communications within a large matrix organization with multiple partners
    • Mentoring junior consultants, document project processes, and manage knowledge

Desired Qualifications:

  • Have current government clearance
  • Have experience with SharePoint development, Power BI, or ServiceNow
  • Have direct interaction experience with Senior Executive level clients
  • Have experience in drafting responses to RFP/RFQ/RFI and white papers

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
