Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced R&D Technician to support the development of Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) pharmaceutical products. The successful candidate will assist formulation scientists with product development, process optimization, scale-up, and technology transfer while ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support formulation development of tablets, capsules, and other oral solid dosage forms.
  • Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale trials, including blending, granulation, compression, coating, and encapsulation.
  • Prepare, execute, and document experiments according to approved protocols.
  • Operate and maintain R&D and pilot-scale manufacturing equipment.
  • Assist in process optimization, scale-up, validation, and technology transfer activities.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, batch records, and technical reports.
  • Coordinate sample preparation and testing with Analytical Development and Quality teams.
  • Follow cGMP, SOPs, and safety requirements at all times.

Qualifications

  • Associateโ€™s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in R&D, formulation development, or manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with OSD unit operations such as wet granulation, dry granulation, roller compaction, blending, tablet compression, coating, and capsule filling. (an advantage)
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations and pharmaceutical documentation practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
