Regulatory Reporting Specialist

Location: Mason, OH 45040 (Onsite Tue–Thu)

6 Months Contract (Potential Extension)
 

Job Description:

Position Overview
Client  is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Specialist to support the timely and accurate delivery of scheduled and ad-hoc regulatory reports. This position focuses on running pre-built report templates, performing quality assurance checks, and ensuring regulatory compliance—not coding or software development. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and deliver recurring and ad-hoc reports using tools such as Business Objects and QlikView
  • Perform thorough quality assurance (QA) on data prior to distribution
  • Deliver reports via secure email or SFTP to internal or external recipients
  • Maintain accurate tracking of reporting activities using master schedules and ad-hoc trackers
  • Create and update work instructions using standardized documentation templates
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal quality protocols
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
    • VLOOKUPs
    • Pivot Tables
    • Formula creation & troubleshooting
    • Handling large datasets
  • Excellent attention to detail and data validation capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP Business Objects, QlikView, or similar reporting platforms
  • Familiarity with CMS or other regulatory reporting standards in healthcare or insurance
