The Forge Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our mission-driven team. This position is remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while still engaging deeply with clients and the multidisciplinary team at The Forge Recovery Center. • Conduct thorough client assessments to comprehensively understand individual needs, ensuring that each client feels heard and valued in their treatment journey.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including both individual and group therapy aimed at fostering recovery and personal growth.
• Lead engaging group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities to help clients develop coping mechanisms and enhance their support networks.
• Maintain meticulous records of client assessments and treatment plans in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Collaborate with the clinical director for routine chart audits, enhancing quality and adherence to ethical guidelines within our practices.
• Engage in regular case consultations with peers and medical professionals, including psychiatrists and nurses, to create comprehensive treatment strategies for clients.
• Continuously assess client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary, placing a strong emphasis on measurable outcomes and therapeutic impact.

Your work will primarily involve supporting adults facing mental health challenges and substance dependencies. These individuals may come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique needs and circumstances. By developing profound, therapeutic relationships, you will empower clients to embrace change and take active roles in their recovery processes.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution or a related field, along with an active LCSW license in California.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of direct experience in clinical settings focusing on substance use and mental health, demonstrating successful engagement with clients.
• Proven clinical and case management skills, with a deep understanding of therapeutic frameworks and innovative treatment methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate empathetic client interactions and team collaborations, paired with excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with digital communication tools.

• Background in working within detox centers or similar recovery-focused environments.
• Experience with integrated treatment models that incorporate mental health and substance use treatment.
• Advanced skills in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
